1. The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls

The tide rises, the tide falls, The twilight darkens, the curlew calls; Along the sea-sands damp and brown The traveller hastens toward the town, And the tide rises, the tide falls.Darkness settles on roofs and walls, But the sea, the sea in the darkness calls; The little waves, with their soft, white hands,Efface the footprints in the sands, And the tide rises, the tide falls.The morning breaks; the steeds in their stallsStamp and neigh, as the hostler calls; The day returns, but nevermore Returns the traveller to the shore, And the tide rises, the tide falls.

2. The Soldier

If I should die, think only this of me: That there's some corner of a foreign field That is for ever England. There shall be In that rich earth a richer dust concealed; A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware, Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam,A body of England's, breathing English air, Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. And think, this heart, all evil shed away, A pulse in the eternal mind, no lessGives somewhere back the thoughts by England given;Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day; And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness, In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

3. A Red, Red Rose

O my luve's like a red, red rose, That's newly sprung in June; O my luve's like the melodie That's sweetly played in tune. As fair art thou, my bonie lass,So deep in luve am I;And I will luve thee still, my dear,Till a' the seas gang dry. Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear, And the rocks melt wi' the sun: O I will luve thee still, my dear, While the sands o' life shall run. And fare thee weel, my only luve, And fare the weel awhile! And I will come again, my luve, Tho' it were ten thousand mile!

4. Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound's the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark and deep.But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.

5. Out upon It!

Out upon it! I have loved Three whole days together; And am like to love three more, If it prove fair weather. Time shall moult away his wings,Ere he shall discover In the whole wide world again Such a constant lover. But the spite on 't is, no praise.Is due at all to me;Love with me had made no stays, Had it any been but she. Had it any been but she, And that very face,There had been at least ere this A dozen dozen in her place.

1、When she had been searching for half an hour, she came across a shop that was selling inexpensive but beautiful umbrellas.

9、High school and college offers you the best chance to learn many things and to do projects with others that teach you about team spirit.

10、You can give the hose a bottle of wine as a gift only when you know that the host drinks wine.

11、They want to know what do study, or whether it’s ok to drop out of college since that’s what I did.

12、When you arrive at a party, you may present your gift to the host once the introducitons are made.

13、Soon I discovered that somewhere inside that wonderful device lived an amazing person----her name was “Informaiton Please” and there was nothing she did not know.

14、I wonder if you have any idea how much you meant to me during all that time…

15、Information Please belonged to the old home, and I never thought of trying the new phone on a small table in the hall.
